GlassGiving is a little corner of the web created to sell craft glass lovingly created in the Scottish Highlands.
It aims to raise money for Charity causes, here in the United Kingdom, and around the globe, both through direct to customer sales and in partnership with other charities.
All proceeds from your web purchase go directly to The Rotary Foundation. This Charity awards grants to enable Rotarians to develop local sustainable projects for the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. All projects further Rotary ‘s aim to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace. To find out more about Rotary Foundation visit https://www.rotary.org/en/about-rotary/rotary-foundation
With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.
We can provide items at discount to be sold in aid of other charities that share the values of Rotary. If you are a fundraiser and interested in a collaboration, please contact us to discuss how we can help each other’s causes.
The first GlassGiving project was to sell jewellery, made by Caroline Dobson of the eClub of Innovation, in aid of fellow Club member Rebecca Barley’s run in the London Marathon. Rebecca was running in support of Action on Hearing Loss. Since then jewellery has been sold by individuals and through charity shops for CLAN, Grantown Remakery, Petals, SAAFA, Combat Stress and School in a Bag, as well as Rotary Foundation If you are a fundraiser who would like to sell GlassGiving pieces, please contact us to discuss how we can help each other’s cause.
